British North American Whaling Voyages

This database documents whaling voyages from ports in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick from 1779 through 1845. Several sources of information were consulted for these British North American whaling voyages, but the details of these voyages are largely the work of Andrea Kirkpatrick.

Information about the content of the database will be available once it is published. The structure is similar to that of the American Offshore Whaling Voyages database, available in its Database Description. You are encouraged to submit additions and corrections through the submission form.
